NAT-WF is a systemic formulation for application in irrigation water that has been developed to be integrated into preventive programs for whitefly management in horticultural and fruit crops. Its root absorption and acropetal internal redistribution allow for the establishment of a residual barrier-repellent effect through vegetative tissues to significantly reduce the incidence of whitefly infestation.

Additionally, NAT-WF promotes an alteration in the biochemical communication of pests by interfering with the processes of perception, recognition, and signal processing during pheromone production. This effect reduces the ability of males to accurately detect signals emitted by females, hindering their orientation, location, and mating response. As a consequence, a chemical confusion effect is generated, limiting coupling and decreasing the reproductive efficiency of the whitefly population.
